McLean County Fair Royalty & Scholarship Contest

2023 McLean County Fair Queen - Allena Johnson

The McLean County Fair Royalty Program selects youth to serve as ambassadors for the fair and provides the opportunity to practice life skills including interviewing and public speaking.

Responsibilities of the court include:

  • Daily attendance at the McLean County Fair
  • Attending public events throughout the year to promote the fair.
  • $500 scholarship for King & Queen, $200 cash prize for Jr. Miss, $100 cash prize for Little Miss

2024 Royalty Finals Competition

Sunday, July 21 at 4 p.m.

at Heartland Community College Auditorium, Astroth Community Education Center

Join us to see who will be crowned 2024 McLean County Fair King, Queen, Jr Miss & Little Miss!

Finals competition is free & open to the public.

Attendees encouraged to bring cash to vote in the People’s Choice competition ($1=1 vote).

Noise makers are prohibited.

Who Can Participate?

NEW age categories in 2024! 

Candidates must live in McLean County, go to school in McLean County, or participate in a McLean County 4-H Club and meet the age requirements below:

  • Miss & King: Ages 16-19*
  • Junior Miss: Ages 10-13 *
  • Little Miss: Ages 6-8 *

*Age as of June 1, 2024

All categories capped at 12 candidates on a first-come, first-served basis.
