McLean County Fair Royalty & Scholarship Contest

2025 McLean County Fair Royalty: Queen Adelina Baumann, Jr. Miss Sophia Smith , Little Miss Alexis Maurer

The McLean County Fair Royalty Program has been a tradition of the McLean County Fair for over 80 years! The program provides an opportunity for young adults to grow their interview and public speaking skills and confidence.

Responsibilities of the court include include daily attendance at the McLean County Fair including presenting awards and ribbons, and participating in a variety of fair activities and attending public events throughout the year. A schedule of events is coordinated by the Royalty committee.

To help our royalty pursue their educational goals, a $500 scholarship will be awarded each to the crowned King and Queen. The crowned Jr. Miss will receive a $200 cash prize, and the crowned Little Miss will receive a $100 cash prize.

Who Can Participate?

Contestants must live or go to school in McLean County or be a member of a McLean County 4-H Club, and meet the age requirements below:

  • Miss & King: Minimum of 16 years of age as of June 1, 2026, and have yet to reach their 22nd birthday by January 1, 2027
  • Junior Miss: Ages 10-13 as of June 1, 2026
  • Little Miss: Ages 6-8 as of June 1, 2026

All categories are capped at 12 candidates on a first-come, first-served basis.

Finals competition is free & open to the public.

Attendees encouraged to participate in the People’s Choice competition ($1=1 vote).

Noise makers are prohibited.
