2024 McLean County Fair

Safety & Security

Our McLean County Fair safety & security program will include walk-through metal detectors at all fair entry gates. All bags, purses, strollers, etc will be subject to search at each of the entry gates. Click here for details on allowed and prohibited items.

Wednesday, July 24

Fair Hours

  • OPEN: 7 am – 11 pm
  • GATES CLOSE: 9 pm (no entry or re-entry after 9 pm)
  • Free Entertainment: 11 am – 8 pm

Wednesday Carnival Specials

  • Hours: 1 – 11 pm
  • Today Only: Pay One Price:
    • 5 & younger: $18 Fair Admission and 1-day Unlimited Rides wristband (valid today only)
    • CHILD (ages 6-12): $24 Fair Admission and 1-day Unlimited Rides wristband (valid today only)
    • ADULT (ages 13 & older): $28 Fair Admission and 1-day Unlimited Rides wristband (valid today only)
    • Unlimited Ride Wristband sales end Promptly at 9:15 pm

Wednesday Activities

  • 8 AM- 4 PM: 4-H General Projects judging
  • Llama & Horse Shows starting at 8 am
  • Rabbit Show starting at 9 am
  • Meat Goat Show starting at noon
  • Royalty Reception & Awards Program at 6:30 pm in the Cloverleaf Auditorium

Wednesday Grandstand

Tobin’s Pizza Big Smokers Tractor Pulls & Local Pickup Truck Pull Off’s

  • Grandstand general seating $8 ($13 including Fair Admission – online/advance sales only)
  • Ages 3 & younger FREE
  • Grandstand gates open 5 p.m.
  • Tractor Pull starts at 6 PM
  • Beer tent open 4 p.m.
  • Featuring: Illiana Pullers Association , United Pullers of America & Local Pick-up Truck Pull offs

Thursday Admission Specials

  • “Young at Heart & Military Veterans” Day. Seniors (60 and over) & Veterans get in FREE ALL DAY!
  • “Pack The Bus” School Supply Donation Day. Admission is $2 at the gate with a qualifying donation of the following items:
    • 1 Backpack OR
    • 1 Zippered Binder OR
    • Any 3 sets of the following items:
      •  2-pack of glue sticks

Bull Riding & Barrel Racing

  • Tickets $10 ($15 including Fair Admission – online/advance sales only)
